2. Purpose
These General Conditions regulate the purchase of products marketed by Sal Solcito through its website.
Placing an order implies full and unreserved acceptance of these General Conditions of Sale.
3. Products
Sal Solcito designs and sells handmade jewelry and accessories made using natural and semi-precious materials, including, but not limited to, natural stones, quartz, pearls, corals, shells, and conches.
The photographs, descriptions, and images of the products are illustrative. Although Sal Solcito makes its best efforts to faithfully represent the products, colors and finishes may vary depending on the device from which they are viewed.
Handcrafted Nature of the Pieces
Given the handmade nature of the products and the use of natural materials, each piece is unique.
There may be slight variations in color, texture, shape, size, veins, tones, or finish compared to the images shown on the website or to other similar pieces.
These variations are inherent to the nature of the materials used and the artisanal manufacturing process, and do not constitute manufacturing defects or lack of conformity.
4. Purchase Process
To make a purchase, the customer must:
- Select the desired products.
- Add them to the shopping cart.
- Complete the requested information for order processing.
- Select the available payment method.
- Confirm the order.
Once the purchase is complete, the customer will receive a confirmation email with the transaction details.
5. Prices
All prices shown on the website are expressed in euros (€) and include applicable taxes, unless otherwise expressly stated.
Shipping costs will be shown separately before completing the purchase.
For shipments outside the European Union, the customer will be responsible, where applicable, for the payment of tariffs, import taxes, or any other duties required by the authorities of the destination country.
6. Payment Method
Payments can be made using the methods enabled on the website at any time, including: Shopify Payments, Bizum, or PayPal.
Payments will be processed by specialized payment service providers.
Sal Solcito does not store or have access to the full credit card details used in transactions.
7. Preparation and Shipping
Orders will be prepared within approximately 2 to 3 business days from the confirmation of purchase.
Delivery times are estimated and may vary depending on the destination country, carrier availability, customs controls, or circumstances beyond Sal Solcito's control.
Once the order has been shipped, the customer will receive tracking information when such functionality is available.
8. Transfer of Risk
When the buyer is a consumer, the risk of loss or damage to the products will be transferred at the moment the customer or a third party designated by them, other than the carrier, acquires material possession of the goods.
9. Care and Preservation of Pieces
Sal Solcito's pieces are handmade with natural materials that require special care to preserve their appearance and durability.
It is recommended to:
- Avoid contact with perfumes, colognes, creams, cosmetics, and other chemical products.
- Remove the pieces before showering, bathing, or engaging in sports activities.
- Avoid contact with salt water, chlorine, and excessively humid environments.
- Avoid knocks, drops, or impacts that could damage the natural materials.
- Clean the pieces with a soft, dry cloth.
- Store them individually in a protected place when not in use.
Normal deterioration resulting from ordinary use, natural aging of materials, or failure to follow these recommendations will not be considered a manufacturing defect or covered by the legal guarantee of conformity.
10. Natural Materials and Possible Sensitivities
The pieces marketed by Sal Solcito incorporate natural materials and components that may react differently depending on the individual characteristics of each person.
Certain materials may cause allergic reactions, skin irritations, or sensitivities in particularly predisposed individuals.
Information on materials and composition will be available as far as possible in the product description.
The customer is responsible for verifying the suitability of the materials for their personal circumstances before making a purchase.
Sal Solcito will not be responsible for allergic reactions, irritations, or sensitivities derived from pre-existing, unknown, or specific personal conditions of the consumer, except in cases where there is a manufacturing defect or a breach of applicable legal obligations.
11. Right of Withdrawal
When the buyer is a consumer, they will have a period of fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of product shipment to withdraw from the purchase without needing to provide a justification.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the consumer must communicate their decision via email to: hello@salsolcito.com
The communication must include:
- Full name.
- Order number.
- Product or products subject to return.
Product Returns. Products must be returned unused, in good condition, and in their original packaging, if possible.
Return Cost. Unless Sal Solcito indicates otherwise, direct return costs will be borne by the customer.
Refund. Once the products are received and verified to be in perfect condition, Sal Solcito will issue a gift card for the value of the returned items. You can use it to make a new purchase within 1 year from its issue date.
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal. The right of withdrawal will not apply in the cases provided for by current regulations and, in particular, with regard to products made to consumer specifications or clearly personalized.
12. Defective Products or Incidents
If the customer receives a damaged product or believes there is a manufacturing defect, they must report it as soon as possible via email to hello@salsolcito.com, attaching:
- Order number.
- Photographs of the product.
- Description of the incident.
Sal Solcito will analyze each case individually and offer the appropriate solution in accordance with applicable law.
13. Legal Guarantee
All products sold to consumers are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity provided for in the consumer protection regulations applicable at any given time. This guarantee exclusively covers conformity issues existing at the time of product delivery.
Not covered: normal wear and tear from use, damage due to accidents, knocks or improper use, damage due to inadequate storage and/or damage caused by contact with perfumes, cosmetics, chemical products, salt water, chlorine or other external agents.
14. Repairs
Sal Solcito promotes the durability of its pieces and may offer repair services when technically possible. The availability, cost, and scope of repairs will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
15. Intellectual and Industrial Property
The Sal Solcito brand, product designs, photographs, texts, illustrations, logos, and other content of the website are protected by intellectual and industrial property regulations. Any reproduction, distribution, or use without prior written authorization from its owner is prohibited.
